Kick Start: Curious Contemplation

What if you didn't feel overwhelmed?

What if you weren't stuck and unsure of your next move?

What if you used fear as guidance rather than a 'NO TRESPASSING' sign? If it was the fuel for your fire?

What would you do?

What if you dropped the labels and limitations you've placed around who you are?

What if when you felt your inner critique pop up and say, "I could never succeed at that", "I suck at that", "I'm going to look like an idiot", "I will never be as good as __________" you stepped back and asked, "Wait, is that really true? How do I know for sure? Where is the proof?" (There is none.)

What if you left your past screw-ups/ failures/ awkward moments in the past? And instead of feeling not worthy/ stupid/ insecure/ shame because of them, you asked, "Am I ready to let go of this?"

What would that feel like?

What if the next time someone gets under your skin, you didn't react negatively, but acted with compassion?

What if you treated yourself with the same compassion you give to your best friend?

What would it look like if you stopped diving into the story (of past experiences or future possibilities) but revelled in the moment that is now? Without the attachment of expectation?

What would you discover if you examined the thoughts swirling around in your mind? Are they fear-based or soaked in love? Critical or compassionate? Stuck in the past or future-trippin'?

What would life look like then?

When we create space around what we think, how we react, how we show up in the world, we discover more about who we really are. We begin to trust our intuition, act on instinct, and truly believe in ourselves (and beyond).

We learn that we don't need somebody to grant us permission, fear can only hold you back if you let it, and in the realm of acceptance/ status, the only thing that matters is that we're living, authentically and true to ourselves. We love ourselves more deeply.

This week's challenge, if you choose to accept it, is to question everything. Let the overarching theme be "CURIOSITY". It's easy to flip on the auto-pilot switch and let our lives play out according to how we've done things in the past and how we've been conditioned for most of our lives, but I say, let's challenge that!

How do you want to live?

Share it, print it, save it as your new background, or simply read the words and take a big, deep breath. xx
