It Never Stops

Saw this and knew I had to share it with you. We truly are the masters of our own universe. What we think, what we see, and what we do is what unfolds our future. We can choose to sit idle, waiting for the next great thing, waiting for something to be handed down to us, but it doesn't work like that. It's just as Abraham Lincoln said: The best way to predict the future is to create it.

It sounds simple but can be so damn hard. To know what to do, what direction to go in, and what we'll do once we get there. What I do know for sure is to never stop learning, exploring, discovering, asking questions, and never, ever let your imagination fade away.

Have an inspiring weekend!

  1. I forget who it was who said this, but I heard it on a Christian radio station. This guy said, "Successful people don't worry about making the right decision. They make a decision and then work to make it right." Kinda echoes Lincoln's statement.

  2. What a great statement! Too bad it specifies American, though, since every human has that ability!!

You find the best stuff, seriously!

  3. Beautiful! I couldn't agree more!

And in the case of electricity, it brings to mind one of the wittiest and most hilarious things I read several months ago about the brilliant Nikola Tesla: http://theoatmeal.com/comics/tesla

I've known about him since I was a kid because he's Serbian like me, and although he's one of the greatest inventors and physicists in the world, I've noticed he's not really taught in schools in Australia/US/Canada, which is a shame.

But anyway, read The Oatmeal comic thingie when you get a chance, no doubt it'll make your day. :-)
