In the Music Garden

Sometimes you just need to get away.

In those times, the best thing to do is pack up, run out the door, and be free…

To release yourself from obligation, responsibility, stress, and the hustle and bustle of everyday life, even at the busiest times. (Especially during those times.)

When you let yourself slow down, and free your mind of all those thoughts running rampant, you’ll begin to dream of great things.

“Why dream? Life is a difficult assignment. We are fragile creatures, expected to function at high rates of speed, and asked to accomplish great and small things each day. These daily activities take enormous amounts of energy. Most things are out of our control. We are surrounded by danger, frustration, grief, and insanity as well as love, hope, ecstasy, and wonder. Being fully human is an exercise in humility, suffering, grace, and great humor. Things and people all around us die, get broken, or are lost. There is no safety or guarantees. The way to accomplish the assignment of truly living is to engage fully, richly, and deeply in the living of your dreams. We are made to dream and to live those dreams.” | SARK

We escaped the city, without ever having to leave it, and immersed ourselves in the Music Garden. An entirely different world where our imaginations flourished... and the pirate ships were anchored on the high seas next to a jungle full of magical budding flowers, and greenery so lush, you could get lost in it. And so we did…

Have yourself a magical weekend. Let your imagination soar xx

  2. Lovely photos! I know exactly what you mean and I plan to do just that. I had fallen in a slump and I was in so deep that I didn't quite know how to go about pulling myself out. So today, I decided to pack my back with books, a bathing suit, a little spending money, and my camera, and I'm headed to the beach to get away from it all.. to give myself time to think.. to figure out the next step.

    1. That sounds absolutely divine! I hope it did the trick (though I'm sure it did;)

I find the best way to deal with slumps is to just throw your hands in the air, accept them, and say OKAY! I'm taking a time out FOR ME! :)

  7. Amazing. We all know that lots of people love music. Music is among the most dominant element in our way of life and also at the same time frame, the majority of indescribable.Songs has needed us in particular together with specific management, immediately subdivide occasion, study a shorthand notation, mirror the changing times of the development, along with organize muscle tissue actions yet still moment using emotive pressure expressing what the tunes is attempting to mention.
